Conor is an Associate with Goldenberg & Co.


Conor supports creators and producers from all backgrounds and practices in the arts, media, and entertainment sectors, including advising on corporate/commercial, labour & employment, and intellectual property & privacy matters. He is particularly specialized in complex and technical copyright and chain of title matters. Conor has more than 10 years of experience the film & television industry, and has worked in development, production, and business affairs on productions of every level. Conor also maintains a non-profit and charitable law practice, with a focus on charitable arts.

Prior to joining Goldenberg & Co, Conor worked for the Government of Canada advising on copyright, broadcasting, and international trade matters, including the implementation of the Online Streaming Act, the regulation of online platforms, and the negotiation of free trade agreements. He led the development of an artist’s resale right in Canada, a new right ancillary to copyright which would provide a royalty to visual artists. He has maintained a passion for cultural policy and brings this expertise to his clients from all sectors, with the ability to advise on government relations and policy submissions to the CRTC, Copyright Board, or Government Ministries.

Outside of his legal practice, Conor can usually be found spending time with his wife and their dog, Frances, golfing, or producing theatre.
